3. Download Aadhaar
After Aadhaar is generated or updated, you can download the electronic version (e-Aadhaar). The downloaded copy is digitally signed and can generally be used where Aadhaar is accepted.
Steps
- Open the official Aadhaar portal.
- Select the Aadhaar download option.
- Enter your Aadhaar Number, Enrollment ID, or Virtual ID.
- Complete the OTP verification sent to your registered mobile number.
- Download the PDF copy.
- Open the PDF using the password format specified during download.
